Hush: Explore a beautiful, vast and dark world riddled with unknown mysteries and chilling thrills. Inspired by kids fears and dreams.
Estimated Delivery: July – December 2014
Location: Porto, Portugal
We’ve already reviewed Wishful Lie and Spectre and now we have Hush. Not that we’re complaining. While there are elements in common, each one seems unique and enjoyable to play in its own right. For one thing, while Hush is based on our childhood fears, it also has a certain “cute” aspect as we help Ashlyn fight through her own fears.
Hush draws its inspiration from fears, particularly those we have all experienced when we were young.
You will play as Ashlyn, a little girl who finds herself trapped in a mysterious orphanage. This beautiful and dark scenery hosts the extraordinary events that will jeopardize her safety.
Nothing is quite as it seems on first glance. Strange beasts, tormented souls and mysterious characters. All preying on her fears, to ensure she never finds a way out.
Cross Platform Flexibility
A note from the Hush team on cross platform flexibility: “We’re also implementing a cross-platform saving feature. That means you can save the game to the cloud and resume progress on another platform you own. This is especially useful if you are playing on your console at home and want to resume play on your iPad while you’re commuting.”
Pledge Levels: 18 tiers ranging from €1 – €3,000
End Date: April 15, 2014 (11:59pm PT)
Chances of success
I’ve found that Indiegogo is a harsh mistress when it comes to high price point campaigns. At €50,000 Hush is going to have some difficulty getting the full amount. However, I have a feeling that it could get a fair amount towards its goal, especially with enough advertising, and since the team has put a lot of time and energy into the project already, if it does come close to its goal, the project itself is likely to be a success.
